It was the George Bollas show as the quarterback scored 4 touchdowns to help his Greenmen beat the Hilltoppers 34-14. Bollas ended the night with 14 carries for 251 yards. Aurora scored on their first possession when Bollas' 3-yard touchdown run capped off a 97-yard 20 play drive to put the Greenman up 7-0. After a T.J. Benenati fumble, Bollas would strike again with a 53-yard touchdown run. The missed extra point gave Aurora a 13-0 lead.
Chardon got on the board before the half thanks to a 16 play drive to make the score 13-7. Chardon took a 14-13 the lead in the 3rd quarter when Reilly Hawkins found the endzone. Aurora would answer with a Bollas 55-yard touchdown run ending the 3rd quarter with a 19-14 lead. Bollas' last touchdown would come on a 38-yard run. Jake McVay would add to the Greenman lead with a 24-yard touchdown.
Aurora will face Toledo Central Catholic in the state semifinals on Friday.
