Police: Arrest Made in Marijuana Growing Operation

CLEVELAND — Police are investigating a suspected marijuana growing operation. 

According to Cleveland Police, they responded to a warehouse at East 24th and Lakeside Tuesday morning. There was a strong odor of marijuana coming from the building.

After obtaining a search warrant, officers confiscated over 100 marijuana plants and marijuana cultivating equipment.

Police arrested a suspect following his surrender Tuesday evening. The suspect is currently awaiting charges.

The incident remains under investigation.
