CLEVELAND– Monday’s windy weather has knocked out power to thousands of homes across Northeast Ohio.

In Cuyahoga County, over 5,500 customers are without power. Over 3,500 of those are in North Olmsted. Crews are out working on Porter Road. That area was also hit hard by Hurricane Sandy at the end of October.

In Lorain County, over 2,500 customers are in the dark. Those outages are in Avon.

Big weather changes moved in Monday, bringing rain and wind. Colder temperatures and some flurries are on the way for Monday evening.
