COVENTRY TOWNSHIP, Ohio — A man is cited for assault after an alleged incident at a polling location.

According to the Summit County Sheriff’s Office, it happened at 725 Portage Lakes Drive in Coventry Township.

A man was displaying political signs when 58-year-old John Pegley started shouting from inside his vehicle.

The man explained he was more than 100 feet from the door of the polling location and was within his legal right to post political signs.
