Man Charged with Making Pipe Bombs

CUYAHOGA FALLS, Ohio — A Cuyahoga Falls man has been indicted by a federal grand jury after authorities found pipe bombs and bomb making materials in his home.

On October 20th, David Dougherty, 49, was arrested and charged with unlawful possession of dangerous ordinance and illegally manufacturing or processing explosives.

Dougherty has been indicted with one count of each unlawful possession, including five pipe bombs, a firearm, a machine gun, and marijuana.

If convicted, Dougherty’s sentence would be determined by the court after reviewing his case.
