Crowd Gathers for Romney/Ryan Event in North Canton

NORTH CANTON, Ohio -- Some voters in North Canton will get a double dose of campaign action as both former Gov. Mitt Romney and Rep. Paul Ryan speak at an event on Friday night.

Supporters waited in lines around the block to get onto the property of North Canton Hoover High School where a talk would be held on the baseball field.  The program was scheduled to begin around 7:15 p.m.

Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney was expected to hammer President Barack Obama on the economy, foreign policy, the national debt and the United States' relationship with China.

Fox 8 News talked with people before the speech to find out what they were most passionate about in this election and why they support Romney.

Some said that America needs a change, others noted their belief that government needs to be reduced, and there were many other reasons they will support Romney in this election.
