KENNEBUNK, Maine — You can bet there are a lot of nervous men in and around Kennebunk, Maine. That’s because police have begun issuing summons to customers of an alleged prostitution business they say operated out of a Zumba dance studio.

A fitness instructor is charged with running a prostitution business out of the dance studio.

The woman, and a man police say was her business partner, appeared in court on Tuesday.

Prosecutors say they have a mountain of evidence against 29-year-old Alexis Wright and 57-year-old Mark Strong, Sr.

Wright is charged with 106 counts of promoting and enganging prostitution and tax offenses.

Strong is charged with 59 counts of promoting prostitution.

Both pleaded not guilty to the charges.
