The North Olmsted Eagles improved to 6-2, 3-2 in the Southwestern Conference with a 43 to 16 win over the Berea Braves at Finnie Stadium. The Eagles' Brad Novak had a very busy night as he passed, rushed and caught a touchdown! North Olmsted finishes their season on the road as they head to Amherst next week, before wrapping up the regular season against Olmsted Falls.

Friday was Berea's (3-5, 1-4 SWC) final home game as an independent high school. The Braves will return to Finnie one final time to face arch rival Midpark in the annual battle for the grindstone game on Friday, October 26, before the two schools merge for the 2013-14 school year.
