What’s in Season

The weather is cooling down but your garden isn’t! Farmer Lee Jones returned to our studio to show us that there is still plenty of produce thriving in the cooler weather.

According to Farmer Lee, until the first frost comes, it’s the sweet spot in the season where many summer vegetables and herbs thrive alongside fall and winter crops. Tomatoes and beans are giving way to heartier vegetables like fall squash and potatoes. Greens like lettuce and spinach love the cooler temps so they grow with more body and crunch at this time of year.

Even after the first frost, it isn’t uncommon for brussel sprouts to be harvested in blizzard conditions!

Choose fresh vegetables from Farmer Lee’s farm and have them sent directly to you!
