Steakology 101

We all love a good steak, but choosing the right cut, seasoning, and cooking method can get confusing! Here to get to the “meat of the matter,” was Executive Chef of Strip Steakhouse, Ron Larson.

Ron briefed us on the quality of Certified Angus Beef, different butcher cuts, and marbling and textured grains. To learn more, check out our video clip!

After a quick break, David was back in the kitchen with Ron – taking Steak 101 to the next level. As a great side dish, he whipped up a Roasted Sweet Corn Ratatouille.

Anything Goes

Looking for a great date night? The award-winning, musical comedy, “Anything Goes,” is the newest production to arrive at Playhouse Square. We sat down with one of it’s stars, Erich Bergen, who plays “Billy Crocker.”

“Anything Goes” is based off of the original 1934 musical comedy about the lovers, liars and clowns on a transatlantic cruise. When the S.S. American heads out to sea, etiquette and convention head out the portholes as two unlikely pairs set off on the course to true love – proving that sometimes destiny needs a little help from a crew of singing sailors, an exotic disguise and some good old-fashioned blackmail.

You can see Anything Goes at the Palace Theatre in Playhouse Square from October 2-14, 2012. For tickets, call 216-241-6000 or visit www.PlayhouseSquare.org.
