Election Absentee Ballot Voting Begins Tuesday

COLUMBUS — Absentee ballot voting for the November election in Ohio officially begins Tuesday, October 2nd.

Registered voters can mail in absentee ballots requested from county boards of elections, or download the absentee ballot form online. All absentee ballots requests to boards of elections must be submitted no later than November 3, 2012 and postmarked by the day before Election Day or submitted in person to the board before polls close on Election Day. Postmarked ballots must be received by November 16.

Monday, Ohio Secretary of State John Husted announced the state has received more than 922,000 absentee ballot applications. The state has mailed nearly 6.9 million applications to eligible voters overall.
