SEATTLE (KCPQ) –– Danny Bonaduce has faced his share of troubles. But on Friday night, trouble really latched on.

According to the former TV star and current KZOK DJ, a crazed fan bit him during a fan meet-and-greet Friday night at a Washington casino, causing a large welt.

Bonaduce showed up to a mixed martial arts event Saturday night at the Emerald Queen Casino with a bright red wound on his cheek. Bonaduce said he got the welt when a crazed fan asked for a kiss during a meet-and-greet at a different casino the day before.

“She said, ‘ I loved you on “The Partridge Family,'” Bonaduce said. The woman then asked to kiss him. He agreed, and the woman latched on to his cheek for up to a minute until others were able to pull her off.

The woman was taken into custody immediately following the incident but released when Bonaduce said he wouldn’t press charges.

Bonaduce felt things popping in his cheek after the incident, he said. On Saturday, police officers came by his hotel room to measure and photograph the wound, and he took antibiotics to prevent infection.

Bonaduce blamed the attack on bath salts, a dangerous designer street drug known to cause bizarre attacks. The Seattle-area DJ said he was “furious” at the woman for biting his face, but some good came of it.

“It makes me a hero to my 11-year-old that I was attacked by a zombie,” he said.
