Valley Forge Student Arrested, Brought Fake Gun to School

PARMA HEIGHTS, Ohio — A student carrying a fake weapon at Valley Forge High School was taken into custody on Thursday afternoon, according to an official with the school district.

Erin Gadd, Director of Public Relations for the Parma City School District, says the student was carrying a fake gun.

Gadd says that another student at the school noticed the weapon and immediately alerted school officials. The student in question was taken into custody by Parma Hts. Police a short time thereafter.

According to Gadd the incident happen after 1:00 p.m., and at no time were any students or staff in danger.

The student has been suspended for the maximum 10 days with recommendation for expulsion.
