Work Zone Death: Speed Limit Wasn’t Lowered

AVON, Ohio – A highway construction worker was killed after he was struck by a vehicle during rush hour Wednesday morning.

A sub-contractor hired to paint on I-90 westbound in Avon was killed inside a construction zone after being hit by a vehicle just after 9 a.m., police said.

Missing Woman Found Alive in Freezer


TULSA, Okla. — A woman missing since Saturday has been found alive in a deep freezer Wednesday.

Authorities said family and friends weren’t able to reach 59-year-old Theresa Christian so they went to check on her.

‘Lost Kidz’ App Creates ‘Web’ in Emergency

PERRY, Ohio — The creator of a new smartphone application aims to help concerned parents find their children in the event they’re lost.

Stephen Fern is the developer of Lost Kidz, which was recently made available to iPhone users.  After losing a child briefly while on a family vacation, Fern told FOX 8 News that he started thinking of ways to track lost children.
