Man Found Dead with No Shoes, Pants

CLEVELAND — A man was found shot to death in a field in Cleveland and someone had apparently taken his shoes and pants, the Cleveland Division of Police said.

According to Sgt. Sammy Morris, the 30-year-old was shot multiple times in the chest.

Police were called to the 11500 block of Ohlman Avenue on Cleveland’s east side around 2:15 p.m. on Sunday.

The Cleveland Division of Police Homicide Unit and the Cuyahoga County medical examiner’s office were investigating.

There were no suspects as of 4:30 p.m. on Sunday.

The Cuyahoga County medical examiner’s office will determine the final cause of death.

The name of the victim will be released once his family has been notified.
