Eagles Take Early Lead, Beat Browns
CLEVELAND — The browns open the regular season at home against the Eagles in just over two weeks, so consider Friday night’s preseason game a sneak preview.
The eagles were dominant against Brandon Weeden and the Browns in the first quarter.
A blocked Reggie Hodges’ punt eventually led to an Eagles touchdown and helped them get out to a 14-0 lead.
Philly never looked back.
Bright spots for the Browns came from the defensive play of Joe Hayden, who made an interception early.
Colt McCoy connected with tight end Evan Moore for a touchdown later at the start of the 4th.
Otherwise, it was all Philadelphia.
The Eagles won by a final score of 27 to 10.
