PARMA, Ohio -- The Padua Bruins are gearing up to take on Brunswick to open their season Friday.

The team is ready to get that sour taste out of their mouths from last season--they finished 2-8 with 25 seniors on their roster.

Still, Padua welcomes back three starters on their offensive line and five on defense, including their leading tackler. Senior Nick Mog will be the signal caller and Will Hughes will carry the load in the backfield.

Bruins' Coach Tony Shumans told Fox 8 they're excited for the new season, and expect great things from the team this year.
