AKRON, Ohio – More than 600 volunteers will pitch in to build three playgrounds in one day!  Children helped design the playgrounds which will be built in Akron on Saturday, August 4.

Thousands of children will have access to the playgrounds located at Cascade Village (210 East North Street), Celebration Church (688 Dan Street) and Miller Avenue United Church of Christ (1095 Edison Avenue).

The John S. Knight Foundation and KaBOOM! are funding the project to make sure children have a safe place to play and be active.
