Person Struck by Two Cars in Cleveland Dies

CLEVELAND — A man was killed in Cleveland after being struck by two cars, officials confirmed to Fox 8 News.

According to Sammy Morris with the Cleveland Division of Police, the man was crossing the street at W. 73rd and Denison before 1 a.m. on Friday.

The driver of a vehicle headed west on Denison hit the man and left the scene, Morris said.

The impact forced the victim into the eastbound lane where he was hit by another car.

The driver of the second vehicle stopped.

No one else was hurt.

The victim’s name was not immediately released.

The Cuyahoga County medical examiner’s office will determine the official cause of death.
