Food Network Chef Busted for DUI After Crash
A celebrity chef cooked up some serious trouble for herself last month when she rear-ended someone while allegedly driving under the influence.
TMZ reports that Food Network chef Cat Cora was popped for DUI on June 17 in Santa Barbara. The Around The World In 80 Plates star reportedly hurled insults towards a witness who began recording her after the crash.
Cora was arrested and released a short time later. Police told TMZ that her blood-alcohol level was more twice the legal limit.
She was arraigned on July 26.
“I deeply regret my decision to drive that evening after my designated driver became unavailable. I learned a very important lesson from this experience and take full accountability for my actions,” Cora said in a statement.
