GREEN, Ohio – The City of Green celebrates the completion of a $12 million improvement project by announcing the Green Auto Mile.  That’s now the official name of the stretch of Arlington Road between I-77 and Route 619, which features six car dealerships.

A three-day celebration will begin Thursday, July 26 with a VIP event.  On Friday, July 27 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. you can cash in on exclusive deals on new and used cars.  Saturday, July 28 is the big “Grand Slam” event will feature family friendly activities at each dealership from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

“The auto dealers and the City of Green are all very excited about this new collaboration,” said Mayor Dick Norton. “Each dealership is in walking distance of each other as well as in close proximity to retail shopping centers, restaurants, hotels and a movie theater. I believe this will validate the Green Auto Mile as THE place to shop for a new or used car in the greater Akron/Canton area,” he said.
