Tornado Warning Issued for Erie, Ottawa and Sandusky Counties

CLEVELAND, Ohio — A Tornado Warning has been issued for Erie, Ottawa and Sandusky counties until 7 p.m.

According to the National Weather Service, Doppler radar indicated a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado. This dangerous storm was located north of Port Clinton, moving southeast at 40 mph.

If you live in the affected areas, seek shelter on the lowest floor of your home or building in an interior hallway or closet.
