PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — A golfer in Oregon had a big surprise toward the end of his game on a Portland course.

At the 15th hole, he said a group of teens threatened him with a gun.

The golfer had his service dog with him, and said when one of the teens took aim at the dog, he lost it.

“And the one guy raises the rifle at my dog, and when he did, I rammed him with my cart,” said Charles James, the golfer.

James said his dog bit one of the teens in the leg, then the suspects took off running, one with a limp.

Police are investigating.
