Body Found Slumped Over in Vehicle on East Side

CLEVELAND — A 54-year-old man was found slumped over inside a vehicle on Cleveland’s east side on Wednesday morning and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police received a call around 2:00 a.m. and found the vehicle in the 2800 block of E. 116th Street.

The man was found in the driver’s seat and had been shot in the upper torso, Sgt. Sammy Morris with the Cleveland Division of Police said.

The victim’s identity has not been released.

The Cuyahoga County medical examiner’s office will determine the official cause of death.
