Splash! City Pools Are Officially Open

CLEVELAND — The city officially announced it is opening its pools for the summer season Saturday.

Mayor Frank Jackson, city officials and the community gathered at Forest Hill Park on the city’s east side to kick off the 2012 outdoor pool season.

Pools will be open every Wednesday through Sunday from noon to 7:30 p.m. If temperatures rise north of 85 degrees, the pools will open on Mondays and Tuesdays as well. If temperatures rise above 80 degrees, spray basins will be opened as well.
