My Town: Shredding and E-Recycling Drive in Streetsboro

STREETSBORO, Ohio – The City of Streetsboro invites you to safely dispose of your electronics and confidential papers during its E-Recycling and FREE Paper Shredding event on Friday and Saturday, June 22 and 23.

Hours are from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. in the Streetsboro Police Department parking lot, located at 2080 State Route 303.

Electronics and accessories which will be accepted for recycling:

  • Cell and household phones
  • Ink jet printer and toner cartridges
  • iPods, MP3 players, alarm clocks
  • Digital and video cameras
  • GPS devices and radar detectors
  • Kindle and Sony book readers
  • Video game consoles and handheld game systems
  • DVD and VHS players and accessories
  • CDs, floppy disks, 3 1/2″ disks, dvds
  • Laptop and tower computers, keyboards, speakers, accessories
  • Flat screen monitors and tvs
  • Printers, scanners, shredders, laminating machines
  • Car/vehicle batteries, rechargeable batteries
  • Appliances (stoves, washers,dryers, microwaves, etc.)
  • Computer monitors (CRT – non-flat screen) $5 per unit*
  • Televisions – smaller than 20″ $15 per unit*
  • Televisions – larger than 20″ $25 per unit*
  • Wooden console tvs $50 per unit*

*Cash or check (payable to Computer Recycling Services)
