Woman Rescued from House Fire Dies

CLEVELAND — One of two people taken to the hospital on Monday following a house fire on Cleveland’s east side has died.

According to the Cuyahoga County medical examiner’s office, the victim is identified as Glenda Clark, 56.

Clark passed away on Tuesday at St. Vincent Charity Medical Center.

An autopsy will be conducted.

The fire started before 3:30 a.m. in the 3400 block of East 149th Street.

Details on the second victim were not available.

The cause of the fire has not been announced.
