CINCINNATI, Ohio — Very rough night for the Indians at the Great American Ballpark against the Reds.

A 1-0 lead was quickly negated, while Joey Votto victimized the Tribe bullpen and the Reds went on to post a 7-1 win over the Tribe.

Jason Kipnis got the Indians on the board first, in the first inning with an rbi single, scoring Shin Soo Choo.

The Reds tied the game in the third inning off starter Jeanmar Gomez.

In the 5th, a sacrifice fly gave the Reds a 2-1 lead, and then it was Joey Votto time after that.

Votto stroked a 2 run homer in the 7th inning off Tony Sipp for a 4-1 lead

The Reds scored 3 times in the 8th inning with the final run produced, once again by the bat of the veteran Votto.

Gomez took the loss. The Indians were held to just six hits on the night as Johnny Cueto got the win.
