SOLON, Ohio — Police in Solon arrested a man earlier in the month for operating a vehicle while under the influence, and unfortunately the man is someone authorities have come to know too well.

Solon Police Lt. Bruce Felton provided Fox 8 News with information on the arrest of Dean Matthew Klembus, 48, of Solon.

Klembus was taken into custody on May 6, 2012 at 7:27 p.m. along Portz Parkway.

According to Felton, an officer pulled Klembus’ vehicle over after he observed the driver not properly negotiating the lanes while turning left onto S.R. 43.

Fleton says that Klembus submitted to a breath test after being stopped and the test resulted in a blood alcohol content of .249, more than three times the legal limit of .08 in Ohio.

Klembus has seven prior convictions for OVI and consequently was charged with a felony count of OVI.

Felton says Klembus’ vehicle was seized and is subject to forfeiture, pending the outcome of his case.
