Cleveland Bus Driver Drops Lawsuit Against Actor Matthew Fox
CLEVELAND — The female bus driver who accused actor Matthew Fox of assaulting her last summer has dropped a civil lawsuit filed against the actor, according to TMZ.com
Heather Bormann had alleged that Fox punched her several times on August 28, 2011 because she would not allow the actor to board a bus that she was driving.
Cleveland Police investigated the incident but criminal charges were never filed against Fox in connection with the alleged altercation.
According to TMZ.com, Bormann’s attorney, J. Norman Stark, says the lawsuit was dismissed and Fox did not pay Bormann any money in the way of a settlement.
The TMZ.com report states that Fox has in-turn dropped his countersuit against Bormann alleging defamation.
Stark told TMZ.com that he believes his client was assaulted by Fox, but she dropped the case due to concerns over a long legal battle pertaining to the lawsuit.
