The World's tallest LEGO tower was erected in Seoul, South Korea about a week ago.

More than 4,000 children, who had won a contest to join in the fun, used over 500,000 bricks in its construction.

The end result - a tower that measured a dizzying 31.9 meters (almost 105 feet) tall. The previous record of 31.6m (a little over 103.5 feet) was set by France in October 2011. Danish Crown Prince Frederik laid the final record-breaking brick.

The event was a part of a celebration marking LEGO's 80th birthday.
