Married to Single: Facebook a Growing Factor in Divorces

According to the Atlanta Business Chronicle, lawyers say Facebook is now cited as a major factor in more than a third of divorce proceedings.

A U.K. survey by Divorce Online, claims Facebook gives spouses an easier advantage for affairs to develop, an avenue not available before the tech age.

The Chronicle also says in a survey by the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, more than 80 percent of lawyers say social networking as a whole plays a factor in divorce cases.
