Body Found on Cleveland’s East Side, Homicide Suspected

CLEVELAND — Authorities are investigating a possible murder on the city’s east side.

A pedestrian spotted the victim at East 162nd Street and South Lotus Avenue slumped over and bleeding from the mouth, and called 911 at about 4:27 p.m. Tuesday. Police arrived and found the victim unresponsive. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The victims is described as a black male in his 20s. The Cleveland Division of Police Homicide Unit is investigating the death says no suspects are in custody at this time. The official cause of death will be determined by the Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner’s Office.
