CLEVELAND — A man who arranged to meet who he thought was two, young sisters in attempt to engage in sexual acts with them has been sentenced to six years in prison.

Timothy Rogers, 25, of Akron, must also register as a Tier III sex offender when he is released from prison.

Rogers plead guilty to 1 count of attempted kidnapping, 1 count of attempted rape and 1 count of possessing criminal tools, after he posted an ad on Craigslist trying to arrange a “taboo” experience with members of the same family.

A detective with the Ohio Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force discovered the ad and posed as man with a 6-year-old and 12-year-old daughter.

While communicating with the detective, Rogers went into detail about his interest in observing and engaging in sexual activity with the girls.

On Dec. 30, 2011, Rogers met an Ohio ICAC investigator posing as the victims’ father in
Independence and was arrested.
