A worker was killed after a keg explosion at a New Hampshire brewery.

The accident happened early Tuesday morning at the Redhook Brewery in Portsmouth.

Officials say the man had been using air to pressurize and clean out a beer keg, when it suddenly exploded in his face. He later died at the hospital.

The Occupational Safety and Health Administration have been called in to investigate. Fire officials say the brewery has a strong safety record.
