MEMPHIS,Tennessee- Cleveland Cavaliers rookie, Kyrie Irving, had a brilliant game but it wasn’t enough as the Cavaliers lost 109-101 to the Memphis Grizzlies, Monday night.
Irving scored 25 points, 19 of them in the first half as the Cavaliers stayed close to a red-hot Grizzlies team well into the fourth quarter.
Veteran Antawn Jamison scored 17 points for the Cavaliers and rookie Tristan Thompson scored 12 points and pulled down nine rebounds.
The Cavaliers have just two games remaining in the season. They did not qualify for the playoffs.
