Rowdy NFL Fans to be Flagged, Required to See a Shrink
We all know the lyrics to one of the NFL’s calling card songs… “All my rowdy friends are here for Monday night”, but according to a new league policy some of those rowdy friends will need to see a shrink before getting back into NFL stadiums.
According to a NYPost.com report, unruly fans who find themselves being booted from stadiums will have to pass a code-of-conduct exam to eventually gain reentry.
At at least two of the NFL’s 32 stadiums, that code-of-conduct exam includes the fan passing a psych exam.
The NYPost.com report claims that a licensed psychotherapist pitched the idea to security personnel at New York’s MetLife Stadium and New England’s Gillette Stadium, and a decision was made to require unruly fans to attend classes at Fanconductclass.com.
Part of the classes at Fanconductclass.com include a psychiatric exam, where at least 70 percent of the questions need to be answered correctly.
