Ohio Guardsman Killed in Afghanistan Laid to Rest

COLUMBUS (WBNS) — A member of the Ohio Army National Guard was laid to rest Monday in Columbus.

Master Sergeant Jeffrey Rieck was one of three guard members killed in Afghanistan on April 4.

A suicide bomber killed a total of 13 people in that blast.

Fellow soldiers, friends and family gathered for Rieck’s funeral and burial.

Services for Master Sergeant Shawn Hannon and Captain Nicholas Rozanski will be held Tuesday and Wednesday.
