CLEVELAND — Nine vehicles were stopped on both sides of Interstate 480 Wednesday morning due to tires flattened by a piece of metal, Fox 8 News reports.

The situation started to unfold right around 7 a.m. on I-480 near the West 150th Street exit.

A Cleveland Police Department dispatcher told Fox 8 News that CPD officers and the Ohio Department of Investigation responded to the scene.

From her morning vantage point high above the scene in SkyFOX, Fox 8’s Patty Harken reported that vehicles were stopped on both berms. The commute was not substantially delayed, but motorists were advised to use extra caution.

By noon, the scene had been completely cleared.
