AKRON, Ohio — Akron Police say they found a 10-year-old boy during an early morning methamphetamine bust at a home on East York Street early Friday morning.

A man and two women — Damian Lawson, 25; Kayela Collins, 22; and Erin Collins, 26 — were arrested. Lawson is charged with illegal manufacturing of methamphetamine and illegal assembly of drugs. The women were charged with child endangering, drug paraphernalia, illegal manufacture of drugs and illegal assembly of drugs.

Authorities say a tip led to the meth lab bust, the 41st in Akron since January. Investigators were seen clearing drug paraphernalia and ingredients used to create meth from the home lab.

The boy was taken to an area hospital to be checked out and is currently in custody.
