CLEVELAND, Ohio – A Cleveland teen who was shot while walking home from school Thursday afternoon is improving at the hospital.

A spokesperson for MetroHealth Medical Center on Saturday told Fox 8 News that Robert Holsey, 16, had been upgraded to fair condition. The teen had previously been in critical condition.

Police say Holsey was shot three times in broad daylight on West 38th Street. He was on his way home from James Ford Rhodes High School.

Meanwhile, the Cleveland Police Department has issued an arrest warrant for 20-year-old Gregory Maddox, of Cleveland, who is wanted in the shooting.

Maddox was last seen fleeing the scene of the shooting in a grey Ford Taurus. Anyone with information is asked to call the Cleveland Police Department.
