CLEVELAND, Ohio -- The sun may have been shining on Edgewater Park Saturday morning, but it wasn't doing much to warm up frigid Lake Erie, where dozens of brave souls took the Third Annual Polar Bear Plunge.

The event raised money for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, as well as Michael J. Fox's foundation for Parkinson's Disease.

Despite the bone-chilling water temperature of 35 degrees, participants dressed up in crazy costumes and boldly hopped in for the good cause.

Once the polar plungers dried off, they enjoyed some well-deserved refreshments.
