Chardon High School Shooting: Memorial Funds

Chardon Local Schools superintendent Joseph Bergant announced on Tuesday that a memorial fund for the victims of the Chardon High School shootings has been set up by the United Way.

‘The Chardon Healing Fund’ has been established to aid the families affected and, according to Bergant, donations can be made at any PNC Bank.

The Chardon Angels of Hope Memorial Fund has been set up to benefit victims of the the Chardon High School shooting and their families. Donations can be made at any Huntington National Bank location.

Danny Parmertor, 16, Russell King Jr., 17, and Demetrius Hewlin, 16, passed away from injuries sustained in the shooting.

Two other students were shot but survived.

A benefit fund has been set up in Danny Parmertor’s name.

Donations can be made at any Key Bank.

Danny’s parents are interested in using some of the donations they have already received, plus future donations, to set up a scholarship fund for local kids studying computer science and related fields, as Danny planned to do.
