(CNN) — Soul singer Adele raked in more honors at the Brit Awards yesterday for her critically-acclaimed “21” album, but it was what she did during the speech that raised eyebrows.

Adele, who won six Grammys last week, was making her thank you speech when she was interrupted by the host.

She responded by giving the middle finger during the live broadcast.

Adele, the host, and the TV station are now issuing apologies.

I-T-V apologized to Adele for cutting her off.

And Adele said she’s sorry if she offended anyone, but the quote, “suits offended me.”
