Robin Thicke is known for his sultry R&B songs that make women swoon, but after getting arrested Friday, he’s probably singing the blues.

According to People, Thicke, 34, was busted for marijuana possession Friday afternoon in New York City. A police officer allegedly spotted the singer smoking a joint in his car, the magazine reports.

CNN says the New York Police Department served the Grammy-winning artist with a desk appearance ticket.

Thicke is married to actress Paula Patton. The couple is parents to 22-month-old son, Julian.

Representatives for Thicke have yet to comment on the incident.
