CLEVELAND -- So, LeBron James might want Cleveland back: "I don't rule that out in no sense. And if I decide to come back, hopefully the fans would accept me," James said Thursday.

Cleveland and James have had a rocky relationship since he left the Cavs for the Miami Heat.

Here's what James said in July 2010 about his decision:

“You have to do what's best for you and what's gonna make you happy at the end of the day because no one can live with the consequences for anything that comes with your decision besides you," James said.

Many of us didn't take it so well.

Flash forward to the present.

It seems James is now having second thoughts, and may want to reconcile the old flame with Cleveland and hit the hardwood with the Cavs again.

"I think it would be great. It would be fun ... to play in front of these fans again. I had a lot of fun times in my seven years here. You can't predict the future," James said Thursday.

What do the fans think?

"I think it would be half and half. You are going to have some booers, you're going to have some cheerers," Amy Zbin of Bay Village said.

"I think he is where he is, and he should just be happy and stay there, and I think we should just build our young team and go forward," said Cavs fan Brian Sindelar.

"I think he should come back to Cleveland. He's Ohio-born. He should come back to Cleveland," Cavs season-ticket holder Tony Horn said.
