CLEVELAND, Ohio --

A man featured several times on the show "America's Most Wanted" was arrested right here in Northeast Ohio.

Police say 39-year-old Wisdom Jeffrey, of Riverside, Georgia, had been hiding out in our area for at least a year. They say he killed his wife back in August of 2010 and has been on the run ever since.

Police say Jeffrey was working in Atlanta on the Keyshia Cole reality show on the BET Network when he met 21-year-old Corissa Friends. Jeffrey allegedly used his status with the show and relationship with Cole to romance Corissa. The two married, but soon after police say the relationship turned violent. The mother of an 8-month-old baby was shot and killed nearly two years ago.

Jeffrey had been on the run since the shooting, until U.S. Marshals got a tip early Friday morning. Officials surrounded a residence on Ablewhite Avenue in Cleveland, where Jeffrey surrendered peacefully.

Jeffrey is in custody at the Cuyahoga County jail, awaiting extradition to Georgia. Police say he faces a charge of aggravated murder.
