A new Quinnipiac University poll released this morning shows Rick Santorum leading Mitt Romney in Ohio by seven points.

A separate poll released by CNN suggests several key differences between the two Republican presidential candidates.

Santorum is more popular among GOP men, blue-collar workers and Tea Party supporters. Romney, on the other hand, is preferred by women, white-collar families and staunch Republicans.

Despite the new polling data, many pundits still expect Romney, the former governor of Massachusetts, to win the party’s nomination.
