INDEPENDENCE, Ohio — The Cleveland Cavaliers announced Wednesday morning that, after missing the past three games, Kyrie Irving has been cleared to play.

The starting point guard was given the green light by Dr. AJ Cianflocco, of the Cleveland Clinic — the Cavs’ team physician.

The 19-year-old rookie suffered a concussion during the fourth quarter of the Cavaliers’ loss at Miami on Feb. 7. It happened during an awkward fall in which the back of his head collided with Dwyane Wade’s knee.

The Cavs host the Indiana Pacers tonight at Quicken Loans Arena. The opening tip is set for 7:30 p.m. Irving will be active.
