FDA Says Some Lipsticks Contain Lead

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration says several popular lipsticks contain traces of lead, Fox 8 News reports.

The FDA insists that there is no danger to consumers. However, the Campaign for Safe Cosmetics disagrees.

The consumer group says the FDA has no scientific evidence that the cosmetics are safe.

The FDA on its website has its analysis of scientific data from the associated federal survey.
